We visited the sets of Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull’ yesterday. It was a day of activity at Filmistan Studios, where a song ‘Dhano’ was being shot! Choreographed by Farah Khan, this ‘special number’ features all the stars of the film - Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ritesh Deshmukh, Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez, who makes a special appearance in the film.Now the one thing that all these actors have in common are fab bodies! Yes, Sajid Khan has made each of them strip! When we got chatting with the director, he said, “I told them all two months in advance that I would be needing them to show skin, including Ritesh Deshmukh! So they could do all the push-ups they wanted and get ready for showing skin! So the men are all topless... I’ve made each one of them strip, and the lovely women are in bikinis.”
While Arjun and Akshay are macho in their own way, how did Ritesh manage the shirtless act? “It was simple, I just took off my shirt,” he said. Arjun Rampal added, “But I’m very impressed with the body Ritesh has made. He is looking good.” Now Ritesh was all clothed yesterday, and we couldn’t quite tell if he has obtained a six-pack, but his male co-stars swear by it.
The ladies on the other hand make no ‘big deal’ of the bikini. “They are all in wonderful shape and we most comfortable. They look gorgeous!” concluded director Sajid, who insists that ‘Housefull’ is going to be houseful for sure. Now with the men and women shedding the clothes, Sajid could well shed his inhibitions of box office collections, too, eh?
